Enquiries for on-line hypnotherapy sessions are growing in popularity. This technology is part of everyday life for many people and our wifi signals are stronger than ever it’s becoming increasingly easier to communicate this way.

Hypnotherapy in the comfort of your own home

It’s an ideal solution if you are limited for time or getting to me is a challenge.

Think about the benefits of sitting in the comfort and convenience of relaxing in your own home.

You can be anywhere in the world.

All you need to think about at this stage is where you’d like to be to enjoy the session and get the most out of the relaxation.

Will you be sitting in your most comfortable armchair or sprawled out on the settee?

Some people have chosen to stay at their work desks.

As long as you are somewhere safe and won’t be disturbed it doesn’t matter where you are

As long as you are unlikely to be disturbed anywhere is fine. It doesn’t matter if there’s noise going on in the rest of the house or outside your office. Part of solution focused hypnotherapy is to help you filter out the distracting noises of daily life and focus your attention where you want it to be.

Pets have joined in many a session, so if you have a needy cat or dog they can join in too. Although it isn’t advisable for your children to be around, unless of course you’ve booked the session for them too.

On average my clients have around 6 sessions

The number of sessions needed varies from client to client but will be no more than receiving the therapy in my therapy rooms.

There are so many benefits to having hypnotherapy on-line.

  • There are no parking worries or traffic congestion to delay you and bad weather won’t prevent you from attending.
  • If you’re immunosuppressed or are ill and don’t want to pass on your infection you can still attend sessions. There is plenty of evidence to show that feeling more relaxed and improving sleep boosts our immune system.
  • Some people’s anxiety affects their ability to leave the house, preventing them from being able to even start therapy.
  • Many of my video chat clients are students from the area but study elsewhere.
  • If you want total privacy with no-one seeing you going into a therapy room you may prefer this format.

On-line hypnotherapy is as effective as face-to-face hypnotherapy

One of the most common concerns is whether hypnotherapy actually works online. Anecdotally from the success my clients have it is a resounding yes. A client happily flew to Asia after only 2 sessions for their flying phobia, a client based in Africa has re-found joy and purpose in their life, and a youngster now eats a wide range of food.
For those of you wanting more scientific proof there are studies that show online therapy, including hypnotherapy is effective. It certainly isn’t second rate to receive therapy this way. I won’t go into full detail here but have added some links for those who are interested.

Other than some basic contact details I only need to know what you want to tell me

If like me, you like to research what support is available, you are likely to have come across many on-line directories. They ask you to complete quite a lengthy form asking for lots of personal details so that they can best match you to a therapist. I don’t need to that because you have come to my website through a different route.

During the first session I will ask you a bit about your day to day routines, who you spend time with, and hobbies and interests are. This gives me an idea of what makes you tick so I can make my discussion with you more relevant.
